You are a real stubborn, PB. I don't believe
a reasonable honest person can skip evidences
like own Intel publications.
With a reference to the original Intel publication
I have shown to the thread in
Message 11078238
that the Intel 0.25 process was designed for
1.8V but did not meet performance target, so
Intel has to jack up the voltage upfront to
2.0V, and now to 2.05V.

I will take my time and show you (in case
you are not familiar with fractions and
inequalities) that 0.25/1.8= 13.9% is bigger
than 0.2/2.2=9.1%. Do I make it clear now,
or do you still believe that it is true that
"the competition was raising theirs an order of magnitude higher in comparison."
