Tom, please do if you like to start a thread on long term investing - we have similar philosophy here that quality companies at reasonable prices would go a long way. ANDW - their products go into the wireless transmission equipments. I haven't look at their balance sheet yet but the company has been around. Small cap but with leadership in a fast growing market. go to coffee shop - ask valley girl - Chris has answered a lot of my technical questions on ANDW. ANAD - they make the chips go into CDMA Handset. Check out news, they just signed a big contract to supply QCOM. Obvious we cant own all those names, at least not me. So it is a good idea that you can start a thread and may be we can attract some inputs to help us fine tune the picking. Interesting you sold out COL - I was thinking if this investigations may make COL go down further, then could be a buy ? granted, they grow too big too fast and with too many hospitals to administer, things can go rough. They are much more profitable than others, say Humana though.
