Hell, I remembered at least 20 of 25 and I sure ain't older than dirt. We still had party lines in my hometown when I was in high school in the mid-'70s.

Black Jack gum. There's a good one. When I was very very young, until I was 4, we lived in a small house next door to a funeral home. The mortician used to carry Black Jack gum and always offered some when he saw me playing in the yard.

The annual put things in perspective list for college freshmen came out the other day and the last item on the list was something to the effect that JFK's assassination in the minds of these youngsters is as remote as Lincoln's or Garfield's. Ouch.
