My opinion would agree with your apparent opinion -- that this is a perception versus reality issue. I think you have a multitude of factors putting pressure on the LD stocks -- interest rates, "price wars", an alleged capacity "glut", pretty good appreciation for the year, (at least it had been), and a shift in dollars to last mile stocks.

This merger will go through. It was friendly, and the nature of the two companies is symbiotic. I have a hard time believing FRO shares will get taken out less than $50 a share. At $43 now, you can get the Oct 40 call for $6 or so.

IMHO, of course.
