This coming from a Verio bull. Sucks to get run over, doesn't it? Yes, these guys "did their homework". Just like 60 Minutes, they can sensationalize whatever they want. Bashing a company like this will give them short-term notoriety, just like people who bash Microsoft abuot slowing growth, and Cisco about high PEs. Exodus is a current gorilla, and should stay there at least for the next 9-12 months. That should be good for more nice-sized gains. I could care less about these people coming out of the woodwork to complain about Exodus and say they would go elsewhere. Everything else I have read stated the exact opposite, but I have known who those companies are. Bottom line--if these companies and people quoted and refered to in the article were that important, they would have gotten taken care of. Sounds to me like they are all ego-driven sour-graped folks, because they did not get their rears kicked. I know if I was stretched thin due to hyper-growth, I'd be focusing all my attention on the big clients, not the startups. Truth to the article? Probably. Relevancy? Long-term maybe, certainly not in the next year. Surely you can do better than that?
