I did work for Microsoft for 5 years, leaving there last August right after Windows 95 shipped and I had a few beers at the ship party... I am by no means a MSFT zealot, I just like that they made me a good amount of money in stock options during my years there, and I paid careful attention to how they make so much money. They are a money making, profit machine. Other high tech companies should at least take a look at them and see that they make money in many ways, not just through monopolies. And those who still work there have name@microsoft.com addresses, not msn.com addresses :).
