joel... ot ot ot

roth/leaps best book as far as i am concerned...simple read....mcmillan and bitmann too textbook....vector analysis too much for me...massive info clouds the mind...

whether you buy/sell options doesn't matter. in spite of a comment made to me, option knowledge is required if you actively follow your portfolio...why? because the quantity of contracts every month move the stock pricing. use leap premiums as a guideline for what the option traders view the future price action of the stock....

qcom today.....very basic...the momentum broke....given weak market environment it can retrace to low 150 range. no bad news high 160 range.......trying today to sell sept 160 puts @ 4.....my comments to greg about selling covered calls above 190 would have given a quick profit...even i'm correct sometimes....nothing goes straight up..can only remain overbought so long...just like the tide..has to go out sometimes....
