Its been an education. I am most surprised at the lack of response from the SEC enforcement division. Before HOPR, I had hit some really nice gains in low value stocks. I was convinced that if you did your research you could always make money and that it was an investment. So I bought into HOPR right after they got the property cleared through the courts. Lost about a third of my portfolio before I was through. I have since made it back but it is now just even with where I was a couple years ago. Lots of lessons ... 1 for 10 reverse splits, Buying companies with stock and losing control ... closing the office but trading the stock off-shore, Press releases that signal a new play for the suckers. And most of all how investors can continue to hope that something will still happen. I still have 20K shares in my IRA portfolio where there is no capital gains losses, so they just sit to remind me of all the lessons on this one. Keep in touch, HOPR will rise again with the next press release.
