Recommended reading at your local library: Friday, Aug 27 edition of the New York Times business section. Feature article on the incredible franchising opportunities in Europe NOW for fast food type establishments. They featured a picture of a Dunkin Donut right in the heart of Rome. It talks about how the early 90s were not conducive to such activity, but that now all the pieced of the puzzle are falling into place, including a large amount of investment money available, receptive customers in Europe, etc. Such franchises are becoming very valuable. The Mgt of RTIN should get themselves a copy ASAP. Sounds like the timing is perfect if they can get their act together.
