Only I would think that some "decent" brand of tolerance for homosexuals (or tolerance for different brands of heterosexual behaviour; there are, e.g., cultures that do not kiss at all, etc.) seems to be part of decent democratic behaviour nowadays (nowadays relating to higher visibility of any sexual content media and behaviour).
I admit that tolerant behaviour is sometimes difficult for me, and when one day I am in the situtation of teaching my own child, I might seek some help on how to introduce them to the adult's world in a way that allows for tolerance while still allowing a clear self-definition for them.

O.k. that is still far away from me. I think a detailed assessment (or appraisal) of homosexuality is not for grade three, and also I think in most cases children don't do so much harm calling each other fags etc. I am not sure that any (theoretical!) introduction to sexuality is less dangerous for fifteen-year-olds than for nine-year-olds otoh. And in the end it will always come down to the same result: those who have caring parents will have a high probability of enduring school morals education without much damage, those who have problematic homes whatsoever run a higher risk. In any situation, with or without school morals education.
