I could be wrong but 144's are filed for sales of unregistered shares or shares bearing a restrictive legend. Unlike 13g's&d's 144's are only for sales and may or may not be for insiders. Since the shares were received other than by a public transaction usually the 144 sellers were insiders or are insiders. Possible candidates could be people who got private placement shares in Isolyser or any of the companies with whom they merged.
