Yes. And there is a difference between "tolerance" and using that term to mean we should capitulate on core values and just accept every type of lifestyle choice that humans are capable of making. I have taught my children tolerance on the homosexuality issue (and it has come up because we have a lesbian couple in our neighborhood who the children frequently interact with) but not approval. We have a young couple living in the neighborhood who are not married and we also tolerate but do not approve of this type of choice. There is a difference between true tolerance and moral relativism or as I think of moral relativism, standing for nothing. JLA
