Sonki - Did Dell tell you your notebook would support multi-monitor?? I remember telling you at the time that notebooks did NOT have true multi-monitor support. They did have dual simultaneous display capability however. What Dell is telling you in regard to buying another video card for a Dimension running WIN98 is TRUE however. The standard video cards shipped in the Dimension line support one monitor. Since these cards go into the AGP slot, and since there is only ONE AGP slot in the system, you have to buy another PCI video card to run dual monitors. The 'gotcha' in this situation is do you HAVE a spare slot. It would depend on how heavily loaded your system is with things like TV tuners, etc...

Regards,
John
