Has anyone except me looked at the Apple G4 processor. I remember a couple of months ago I said on this thread that Intel was in trouble with chip designs and got run over by a truck with Intel friends. Well I tell you this G4 is something else. Kind of looks like the Cyber 200 that filled a large room when I worked on it. They have vector processors independent of the simple add-subtract-multiply-divide registers which all can execute in parallel. Anyway, the bottom line is this is one heck of a processor and light years ahead of what Intel is trying to bring out and has not been able to get there from here. <ggg>

BTW, We are buying one. The read/write DVD, etc CD capability is going to be great with digital monitors. Do I need it--no, Is it a toy--yes. <ggg>
