True. When stock hits target price, a firm will either revise the target upward or change their bias towards a stock. Instead of "strong buy" they might say, "out-perform".

I notice MLynch has Sun's target at $95.00.

I couldn't help but notice Scott McNealy's big grin on TV last night when he mentioned, the sales from "the server-side of the market."

FINALLY Sun has software!!! :D I am amazed at the public's enthusiasm for Star Office. I didn't expect everyone to jump on the LINUX bandwagon so quickly. I know Star Office is a an excellent product because my husband runs it successfully on his PC.

He's going to get a Digital Equipment workstation that will run Star Office. He wanted a Sun workstation so that he could learn Solaris, but a Sun machine was unavailable. ;(

Do people download Star Office from the net or from Sun? (From your post, looks like they contanct Sun)Is it still possible to buy CD, manual and technical support for Star Office in a shop. My husband paid about $100.00 for his Star Office software. He installed it himself.

Since he is not a techie, he did not want to download Star Office from the net.

I heard on the news last night that folks will be able to buy technical support from Sun for Star Office. I think this is a very good idea. I would encourage people who are unfamiliar with LINUX and who are NOT techies to purchase technical support.

I like Sun's model: Store and retrieve from the net via a server. If we store Star Office on a server instead of the PC's desktop, do you think it will take longer to retrieve information? We thought that it might.

PS: Sun doesn't target Morgan Stanley's stock because Sun isn't a brokerage house.
