Now we can officially add water testing to neog's regime of tests and it's nice to see that BioTrace is gung ho on neog. They have already updated their home page with a reference to neog:
   biotrace.co.uk
Biotrace products also puts neog in contact with some new companies and markets:
"Biotrace supplies companies large and small throughout the world. 22 out of the world's top 25 food and drink companies use Biotrace systems. Current Biotrace users include: Nestle, Unilever, Danone, GrandMet, Cadbury Schweppes, Bass, Mars, and Allied Domecq." (Hmmm...and seems to me I read something about BioTrace and Pepsi..)
Biotrace, whose rapid hygiene tests such as Clean-Trace™ and Aqua-Trace™ have attracted 19 of the world's top 20 food, beverage and industrial companies, has appointed Neogen as part of a plan to offer its fast growing North American base of customers a more dedicated service. The agreement will mean the merger of Biotrace's additional product management and technical support into Neogen.
Uni-Lite XCEL sets the standard in rapid sanitation testing. The system delivers a measurement of the cleanliness of a surface by measuring the amount of ATP from both micro-organisms and food residues which is detected by a Clean-Trace™ surface hygiene test.
Uni-Lite XCEL provides results in only seconds and is easy to use, yet offers advanced data logging and trend capabilities. Existing Uni-Lite XCEL customers include 30 of the top 50 food and beverage companies in the United States and Canada.
Aqua-Trace™ is the most simple-to-use rapid water test on the market and is designed for the rapid detection of 'Total' (microbial & free) and 'Free' (non microbial) ATP for use in all places where water hygiene or contamination may be an issue to health, safety or production.
Aqua-Trace™ saves time and money and reduces risk by providing early detection of process failure, detecting biocide efficacy, reducing reject batches for processed products, rapid detection of biomass for effective water treatment and offering a cost effective evaluation of CIP efficiency.
