Being the gadget/software nerd that I've become, I just went across the street and bought a copy of the new Quicken 2000, which I'll probably install later tonight or tomorrow.

Two interesting inserts in the packaging -- one for MySchwab.com (which has a "powered by excite" logo on it, btw), and one for Wingspan Bank. I'm happy to see the Wingspan piece being visible to the huge installed base of Quicken users, but it's kind of strange since Intuit will not benefit from the billpay features that Wingspan offers. I guess the quick (mega) advertising bucks from Wingspan offsets Intuit's choice of some other, CKFR-friendly bank...
