If Q has an analyst meeting next week, why was it meeting with an individual analyst this week?

If the company gave him "insider" information on the earnings prospects, it is grossly unfair.

Did analyst lower his estimates? To kill a stock because it won't beat estimates by as much as in the past when it has short term supply not demand factors is irrational.

If MOT and Nokia cut prices and sell more phones, gross margins may decline on the supply limited phones Q sell, but royalties should increase. Don't believe MOT is selling chip sets externally yet. Does anyone know if NOK gets chip sets from Q?

MER analyst model already has decline in market share on chip sets built in. Thinks royaties from Asia should offset decline in gross margin.

JDSU took a recent haircut after a run which I missed. After faltering a couple of days it is on its way back.

Noticed ERICY got a CDMA contract in Brazil. More royalties for Q? This is for fixed wireless. Buildout starts by year end. 75% pops coverage. Low phone penetration rate for land lines make this a strong competitor as I see it.
