I just caught up reading over 150 posts. FWIW, here are some of my observations, thoughts, etc. on today's events. (pardon the length)
>I was wondering when we would get some correction in the stock - while it had been steadily going up, it was not on particularly strong volume.
>I remember following stocks like MSFT and CSCO, before I had the wherewithal and guts to buy them. They periodically had these kinds of corrections and look at where they are today!. I think it is to be expected when you have a company with a high valuation by "normal" standards.
>Also always good (and humbling) to remind myself that nothing is a sure thing (except the famous duo - no not msft & csco, death & taxes)
>All the talk of shortages, margins not what they were hoped for, etc. sounds familiar to me - like that was what was said on conference call; was there something new that I missed?
>From the gorilla game perspective, shortages in a rapidly growing market are to be expected; it is confirmation of the tornado.
>If you have a tornado, you have a gorilla game
>In a gorilla game the owner of the underlying technology is the gorilla. Go Qualcomm!

I am in no rush to buy more yet. Before the split I bought at 160 and saw Q drop to 120 before it shot back up. So I will be patient, but ready to buy more as September progresses.

Best to all.

cfoent - a very satisfied l-t holder
