I learned from the NRA, papers and the net. Randy Weaver had done drug time. The FBI wanted him to get back into the life and he refused. He was living a life where he shot (legally) and grew his food.

They sent a guy in to buy a sawed off shotgun which was later found in federal court to be legal. The Feds used that to attack the house. The first attack was his son taking the dog rabbit hunting. The dog barked at a FBI agent and the teenager shot the agent who killed his dog. The boy was gunned down by FBI agents.

Randy Weaver was wounded but the worst was his wife. She was breast feeding her baby and was shot in the head and killed in her home. Relate that to the breast feeding in public.
