Another champion from Ericsson joins Technor. Todays news: GSM Value-Added Service Champion from Ericsson Joins Technor's CellPoint? Systems September 1, 1999; Stockholm, Sweden ? Mr. Falk was formerly the Manager of Business Development and Innovation for Value-Added Services (VAS) with Ericsson (Nasdaq: ERICY) and is one of the leading authorities within this field. "Johan has been a champion of Value-Added Services in the mobile communications industry" said Hadar Cars, President of CellPoint?. "He has a long experience in creating and driving new innovative businesses and most recently has initiated and started up Ericsson's Pre-Paid and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) programs. I can't think of any other person more qualified to assume this role for our growing company." Most recently, Mr. Falk was responsible for Business Innovation within VAS and has also headed product management for Pre-Paid solutions, WAP solutions, Intelligent Network (IN) platforms/applications, messaging products and positioning. The CellPoint? technology and applications are industry leading value-added services and I am eager to have a role in furthering Technor?s leading position in this exciting marketplace," said Johan Falk. Technor International is a US company whose CellPoint? System technology uses the Internet and cellular networks to determine physical locations similar to satellite-based Global Positioning Systems (GPS) but with the additional capability of determining location inside buildings, parking garages and other shielded areas such as inside a pocket or briefcase that are inaccessible to GPS systems. There are more than 170 million GSM subscribers worldwide. Technor recently announced a contract with Tele2 in Scandinavia, France Telecom Mobiles and has filed the Form 10SB to qualify for trading on the Nasdaq exchange.
