Shell Endeavours To Conclude Long-Term Contract To Purchase Sudanese Oil

General Director of Shell Company (Sudan) Mohamed Al-Shafie said that
the International Shell Company endeavours to conclude an integrated
long-term transaction to buy Sudanese oil due to its good quality.

He said in a press statement that the first quantity of Sudanese crude,
purchased by Shell International Company, will be refined at the
company's refinery in Singapore which is one of the biggest refineries
in the world.Al-Shafie indicated that the unique and good quality of the
Sudanese oil has encouraged Shell International Company to bid for
buying it, adding that the Sudanese petroleum is safe to both the
environment and the machines.He noted that the ship carrying the first
quantity of exported Sudanese oil is due to reach Singapore within a
period of 10 to 15 days.
