In case anyone cares a/o still remembers I made a small lobster wager with Dan re: DELL a/o CSCO outperforming CY over the period of a year starting on 8-31-98.

The parameters were buying $10,000 of each stock on the close of the market.

DELL closed at 100 so $10,000 bought 100 shares.

CSCO closed at 81 7/8 so $10,000 bought 122 shares.

CY closed at 6 1/16 so $10,000 bought 1649 shares.

As of 8-31-99 based on closing prices and split adjusted basis for CSCO and DELL $10,000 of each stock was worth:

DELL 48 13/16 x 4OO shares = $19,525

CSCO 67 13/16 X 366 shares = $24,819

CY 23 1/8 X 1649 shares = $38,133!!!!!

Congratulations Dan your the man.

Looks like I am lobster stew <gg>.

All in all not a bad return on a $10,000 investment over the period of a year. Sure beats the heck out of a savings account!!

To the winner go the spoils err lobsters.

It was great fun and profitable. I thank you for your sportsmanship.

Warmest regards,

Al
