You know, it doesn't even matter anymore. Please know this now so you don't come back here in a year and blame it all on Sun 'whining to the DOJ', or some crap like that.

Today, 9/1/99 is a day that will be remembered. There are SO many news pieces. SO much piling on. Here are two, chosen almost at random; both from a collection of too many to mention just from Dave W's Linux Today site.

"Look at what Sun has done!" said St.John. "They have provided a compelling reason to stop using MS Office and the timing is important. Windows users are looking down the gun barrel at upgrading to Office 2000 and Windows 2000, which may mean replacing the computers. Those acquisitions are enormous expenses, but they pale compared to the implementation expense. There is no evidence that all this expense increases user productivity. So, where's the return that justifies this expense?"
