I use Waterhouse and I used to have very few problems but this has beena horrible 3 weeks. Today wasn't too bad until the web broker wouldn't allow me to trade for some unknown reason. This caused me to miss 2 entry attempts that were winners until I had to call in the loser. This is what is frustrating and almost too coincidental. The winners never execute and the losers almost always do. Yes, I do often split the bid and ask or else I will limit the bid when selling and limit the ask when buying if I want a faster fill. The OEX is usually liquid enough that you can split the bid/ask and get fills except lately probably due to vacation time etc.

Note I got a lunch break tonight and updated my site early. The charts unfortunately look bullish IMO although the TYX is a hair from triggering Xs on the P&F ( not updated due to lack of time) and a few other stocks and indexes do look a lot like dead cat bounces. Still the majority seem to be bullish with many tweezer bottoms and/or strong moves off of support areas.

I am getting a few over bought weekly signals on computers and a few others. I may just be a bit early on these puts. I think the mid to late September drop is still highly possible and by October for sure. Forks seem to be pointing to around the 15th at the latest for the top although it is still hard to nail down due to the distance out.

US Dollar at make or break, TYX drifting north all bearish. Painting the tape for J6P's 3 day weekend, 1st of month fund inflows, Labor day weekend historical track record and over sold indications on signals and cycles all bullish.

Good Luck,

Lee
