Re: "This is an Amazon feature which lets everyone know what Intel and other companies are purchasing." I find it difficult to believe that AMAZON would even THINK of doing that, let alone actually DOING that. I have bought books and CD's from Amazon in the past - with good results. I was about to order some more - but if I find that they are actually PUBLICLY DISPLAYING PRIVATE INFORMATION , then I definitely will NOT do business with them again. Paul

Paul, since it's listed as an aggregate, a person's individual selection isn't revealed. But, it does let everyone know where Intel employees are putting their energies. Not sure if that's a good idea to let the competition know this, and probably not good for their marketing relationships.

But the feature is fun. I checked out several USA cities. It's really interesting to see what is being read in various parts of the country. I checked out one foreign country and a top selling item was on GMAT exam preparation. None of the USA cities I clicked on had GMAT studies as their top seller.
