Do you see any other roadblocks in road now that Intel is officially waving on RAM manufacturers past the dead end street called SDRAM. jd, i would not characterize 133 as a road block. i hope nobody is surprised by the fact that intel has now confirmed that 133 will replace sdram through 2001. the roadmap remains intact for rambus. in fact the only thing that has changed for rambus this week is that the gorilla (intel) has stated, several times, in very clear terms that rambus remains the future. the roadmap for rambus remains intact. domination in 2001. developer.intel.com my personal pc buying and investment strategy would be... sdram...short this dead puppy pc133...avoid this like the plague...one year lifespan indeed...john q is going to get screwed again with pc133...this pc will be good for one year. rambus...the memory tech of the future...backed by the gorilla...gotta go long here. best buy for the long haul! if your investment strategy is longer than from here to lunch, rambus is clearly the way to go imo. we have 5 rdram mfrs now, several have sold out their very profitable rdram production. 3 more mfrs within next several months. the world learns about rambus in 24 days, when intel officially announces it and dell and cpq start selling it. come to think of it, something did change yesterday...something very, very large...huge the time frame for the beginning of the rambus earnings ramp... is "this" month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! unclewest
