Leicester Diamond Mines (LCD:VSE) announced that its applications for
exploration programs on the Loch and Hagdale platinum/palladium
properties were recently approved by the Shetland Island council. The
company says preliminary field work will begin immediately, adding
that an initial 500 m drill program will begin on the Cliff occurrence
in mid- September. (Aug 31/99)
