Wart,

DUSA:

That profile of the 13 dCCI crossing over the 3 dCCI was initially set up on 8/18. The turn up of the 3 dCCI on that day was the first buy signal. Buy signals are generated by an upturn in the 3 dCCI afterward until either
a.) the 3 dCCI crosses back over the 13 or
b.) until the 13 dCCI hits a short term (local) top that fails to go higher than +100.

In the case of "a", after the 3 pulls back, and IF the 13 can maintain above 100 or return to above 100 for the next local top, subsequent upturns in the 3 will be buy signals. So...on the occasions where you see an upturn on the 3 that actually breaks over a heated up 13, there is less chance that the price will react as if that upturn were a buy signal. This is currently the situation in DUSA's 13/3 CCI profile.
