Sand Technology Systems International Completes Transaction
MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1999--(Nasdaq:SNDT - news) SAND TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL INC. (Nasdaq:SNDT - news) completed today the transaction announced on July 8, 1999 whereby Sand sold its 40 percent share in Hitachi Data Systems Inc., the Canadian operating arm of Hitachi Data Systems Corporation of Santa Clara, California, to Hitachi Data Systems Corporation.

Sand received $7,295,076.00 Canadian.
