Any idea what was paid for the LGND stock as part of the deal announced? Probably a premium over market price but wonder what. Ligand must now have about the largest number of major pharma's collaborating on various drug canditates. That blue sky potential PLUS their own products now entering or about to enter the marketplace with profitability a year or so away should mean a higher market cap than we see. Short of an absolutely blockbuster announcement however I'm resigned to just holding on for the long term value I feel will come. Wonder if shorts will feel the pinch over this latest validation of their technology.
