DISNEY RAISES RATES Buena Vista Home Video just announced that all nine of their scheduled animated "Classic" DVDs will undergo a repricing. Disney is raising the price of these long-awaited titles to $39.99 each (retail), which it first announced at $34.99. The DVD movies to be repriced are ... October 26: Pinocchio November 11: 101 Dalmatians - Hercules - Mulan November 23: Lady and the Tramp - Peter Pan - The Lion King II: Simba's Pride December 7: The Jungle Book - The Little Mermaid Time will tell whether this will affect the pricing strategy of the other studios and the pricing of future Disney titles.
