ZS, the back to school PC lies usually don't show their true colors so quickly. 77% sub-$1000 and 35% sub-$600. Oh, yeah, this is a growth business. The sad part is that all of the PC boxmakers believed Intel's tall tales about huge pc demand for back to school and they stuffed the channel like crazy, and built their own inventories of crap like DRAM, MPCs, and disk drives. True, with Xmas coming on, they may be able to get rid of the overhang, but growth is done forever.
