Time washes away all things and especially treasuries. Bizarre as it may seem they may be wise to split the stock here at these prices because it would hardly affect the value, increase the ability to finance, give some leverage and be an admission of the truth that they have diluted themselves too much to be at this stage. The gas is still there and if they can survive, the play will still be a big winner. However the share structure and financial situation must be addressed and then the drilling must happen sooner rather than later. I have always wondered why companies do not just send out a voting form on reverse splits to shareholders and do that if the shareholders vote in the majority to go that route? Would make sense and would eliminate the resentment that accompanies such moves. Anyone who has read John Kaiser is familiar with the life cycle issue and this one is getting to be the late cycle for juniors given the treasury and shares outstanding imho. A split now even if painful would be a wise move. 1 for 2 would bring it to 10 million shares and set them up for a brighter future.
