GM -

I think that there are probably quite a few fund amanger types that were lets say 'upest' about the rise of the Q this year.

You never see anything so bad written about HLIT or SNDK or JNPR or BRCD each of which have had also very good performance so far. No the Q gets it all the time. It's OK for us to do it here because we all love the company, the technology and its products and moost of us can't wait to get hold of the next version of whatever comes out.

But the media sniping is a wholly different character. It isn't said by people who for the most part have our attachment it is or seems to be designed to bring 'em down.

Q seems to attract some really unpleasant critics that go far enough to show their prejudice. Why? Who knows but the ingredients certainly include jealousy of a big winner, competitors jealousy, sorry they didn't get in etc...

The Korean handset sales in April was an example, and this latest jibe about non-performance is yet another.

Just one of those things I guess. See where things will be a year from now!

Best regards,

L
