They can grow cartilage now. Check out Northwestern Univ. Hospital. I bet somewhere out by you could give you an ans. I know they do this for knees to replace worn and torn cartilage. they take a sample, send it off, put in a pertia dish, grow it, send it back, stuff in the joint, and presto change o you are running with the best of them. <gg> G
