TURF is still in the process of building the foremost Generation Y (10-24 years old) site on the web. The Ontap.com all stock transaction is a part of that strategy. Yes, expenses will be higher for the next few Quarters. However, during the conference call, iTurf management answered a specific question regarding how this might affect the expected cash-flow breakeven projection for the second-half of FY2000. iTurf management assured the analysts that those projections have not changed. (See Motley Fool interview--post #510--and conference call--post #509).

Obviously, the needs of teenagers and college kids are different. But just as AOL through its "one" site meets the needs of males and females aged between 6 and 99 years old, iTurf with its more sophisticated web-site (under construction) can meet the needs of Generation Y.

iTurf is building a Generation Y portal which will (step-by-step) take it away from its "pure" Delia's roots. In previous conference calls, iTurf management has stated that it will be acquiring or partnering with many "new" vendors which will meet the needs of Generation Y (see post--#395).

Hope that helps.
