Yup. Really. Do your homework. ASND has acquired a lot of companies e.g. WhiteTree. CSCO will go the way DEC did as it tries to lock vendors into proprietary stuff. Routers Hugh. Its "switches" stupid not CSCO. CSCO is an elephant which can't even crawl. CSCC/ASND are nimble/quick. CSCO plays tag ball at the IETF with tag switching. Why not acquire Ipsilon and be done with it?. Chambers is just running scared. CSCO is history, just the way DEC went.... Do you really think that CSCO has the best inhouse technology? No it is the startup that CSCO swallows?. And do you think that CSCO executes... Give me a break. 4.0 billion for Stratacom and it has not even dented the market lead of CSCC in frame relay....
