OT to Lynn,

According to the news report I heard, a small amount of your cartilage is extracted, sent to a specific lab where it is grown, then sent back to your Doctor / hospital for implantation back into you. In the clinical results to date, the cartilage takes hold and is no different than what you started life with.

This may not yet be an approved medical procedure, so you may need a lot of luck to get selected for a clinical trial.

Wishing you the best,
Ian.
