It's verrry quiet. Calm before the storm? As I wrote to clients at noon, "Of course, tomorrow's employment report still looms, and it could well turn out to be a lifesaver for the bulls--for a while, anyway. Who knows? Not the economists. I'm almost convinced that the jobs data are produced by a random number generator, so it's about as solid a proposition as betting red or black. Place your bets, or stand aside."
