BioShield Institutes Legal Action to Stop Defamatory and Fraudulent Statements on Internet Message Board
NORCROSS, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1999--BioShield Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: BSTI - news) announces today that it has instituted legal action against one or more persons who have used the screen names FraudFinder1, TeSquared, and theskepticds1 to publish fraudulent and misleading information about the Company over the Internet.
The Company has served a subpoena seeking the identities of these persons.
Commenting, Co-Chairman, President and CEO Timothy C. Moses stated ''We will not tolerate this kind of fraudulent and illegal activity and will pursue these individuals to the fullest extent permitted by law.''
BioShield Technologies is comprised of four business divisions for the sale, distribution, and development of antimicrobial, biostatic and medical related products for the internet medical markets, retail, industrial & institutional and OEM markets.
