Fred... YES this machine works. I have watched it and eaten its product. BUT...the problem is that it can not be manufactured at low enough price that anyone would buy it. We're all glade to see that you have an IMAGINATION, because that is what all of us used to get us into this mistake. Now, for your own sanity and financial well-being, imagine that you never heard of TFRY or Tasty Fries! You will be so much better off!
