I am signed-up for the bill presentment function within Quicken 99 (i.e., Get Bills).

I am having a hard time getting a bill presented. I signed up w/ Qwest for long distance and when I try to add the account I get an error message from CheckFree after a few days saying that they were unable to set-up the account.

When I call the 800 number, they tell me I have to call Qwest. When I call Qwest, they are clueless. I guess this is the penalty I pay for being an early adopter.

I'm now running the same experiment using the CheckFree mybills site. I'll let you know if they are able to get the Qwest account up and running on the web.

>>>literature says something about the system working through CKFR<<<

So far, Intuit is presenting bills from CheckFree only. I remember a few press releases a long time ago saying they inked a deal with another vendor to present bills (maybe Princeton).

After you get your log-in through the USPS, you'll be able to see that every biller is through CheckFree.

Regards,

Sam
