NET SHEPHERD INVESTOR FORUM

...Teleconference update on commercial prospects and potential transition to NASDAQ

CALGARY, ALBERTA, 2 September 1999 - Net Shepherd Inc. (ASE: WEB) held its first Investors Forum on Tuesday the 31st of August. The Forum took the form of a teleconference and attracted investors and analysts from across Canada.

"Because Net Shepherd is a rapidly growing and changing company, we know that it is important to have an on-going dialogue with our shareholders and the investment community", said CEO Don Sandford. "This quarterly Forum provides a valuable means for discussion between our investors and Net Shepherd's senior management and is in addition to our usual bi-lateral discussions. We'll be building on this later in the year, when we'll be using Net Shepherd's technology to create a virtual community on our Website for investors and analysts. This will provide a virtual meeting place for those who want to discuss Net Shepherd's progress and prospects."

Among the subjects covered, the Forum provided an update on Net Shepherd's revenue prospects and the potential transition to NASDAQ.

I for one, am quite disappointed that I missed this. Unfortunately, I was out of town in meetings. I did submit questions and am looking forward to listening to the forum.
