I agree with your comments on UTEK. I just bought some today at $21.50 or so. THE GIFT HORSE IS HERE! And check out the bearishness, even on the SI survey. I just changed my vote on the survey from 10% gain in the next three months to 20% gain. While doing so, I noticed that the current SI bull-to-bear ratio is only 0.61. Can you believe it? Are these the sophisticated investors who only a few weeks ago thought that the market was a screeming buy at levels 8% higher? Also, check out the graph of the bull-to-bear ratio as compared to the SI tech stock index. It is obvious that the SI bull-to-bear ratio has been a great contrary indicator for the last 2 years.
