World Wide Wireless Communications Announces Commencement of Revenue Service of High Speed Wireless Internet in Concord, California

OAKLAND, Calif., Sep 2, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- World Wide Wireless
Communications, Inc. (OTC BB: WLGS) announced Thursday that revenue
generating operations has commenced, whereas the Company is now
providing high speed wireless internet service to consumers in Concord,
California. World Wide Wireless Communications will be transmitting
high speed wireless downstream internet connections with realistic
speeds of up to 1.5Mbs serving the demographically diverse East Bay of
San Francisco, from Travis Air Force Base and Fairfield, in the north
through the Diablo Valley, to Livermore, Pleasanton, and San Ramon in
the south. With a population of well over one million people, the
footprint covered by the Company's service area includes military
bases, oil refineries, high-tech industries, high income individual
households, plus universities, research labs and other potential
customers. The area also is among the nation's leaders in
tele-commuting, a natural source of customers for WLGS' high speed, but
reasonably priced services.

"After some delays caused by tardiness in installation of high speed
telephone lines by the local telephone company, we are looking forward
to fast-paced growth in revenue from Concord" stated Douglas P. Haffer,
WLGS' President and CEO. "We have long looked forward to the
commencement of operations off Mt. Diablo and expect the diversity of
the areas population and business base to serve us well as we open
additional locations over the next several months."

The Company will commence an aggressive marketing campaign immediately
using print and broadcast media as well as direct contact with specific
affinity groups. WLGS will continue to expand the marketing and media
campaigns at least through the end of the year.

Dana Miller, WLGS' Vice President and Director of System Expansion put
together the team which built-out the Concord facility. "With this
first location under our belt" he noted "the commencement of operations
in subsequent locations should proceed much more efficiently." He noted
that the Company is currently awaiting FCC approval for a minor
modification to eight of its leased ITFS licenses to permit digital
operations there. Approval is expected within thirty days with Ukiah,
California being the next ITFS-site to commence operation.

In other news, the Company received today its audited financial
statements from its certified public accountants and auditors. These
financial statements - which run through the end of its fiscal year,
May 31, 1999 - mark the first step toward permitting the Company to
become fully reporting in the near future. In addition the Company
anticipates, this will enable interested institutional investors to
provide significant funding to allow both the final development of the
company's VDMA chip and the build out and expansion of its domestic and
international wireless internet system.

Finally, the Company announced today that it has completed the move of
its corporate headquarters to Oakland, California. Its new offices -
with sufficient space for expansion into the future - are located in
the Jack London Square district of the East Bay city, less than two
blocks from the Port of Oakland (and the ferry to San Francisco) and
within a rapidly developing multi-media center. "Our new location in
Oakland, which more than quadruples the area of our corporate offices,
places us in the center of both the Bay Area as a whole and, more
particularly, of the exciting East Bay high-tech and multi-media zone
as well" commented Mr. Haffer.
