What a truly lovely story, Neo. I have always believed in fairies and sprites, and tried hard to see them the way the characters could in the books I read, which often tended toward the magical and mystical. Sometimes in the evenings, when the fireflies were out, sitting on our back stoop, I would ALMOST see them out of the corner of my eye, just a glimmer, or hear their wings brush against the flowers.
My mother said, oh it was the cat, but she could have been wrong.
