Let's start with my post on another thread. It was a response to another individual who was talking about TKI and their move into online gaming. I simply gave him a point of reference for MTK. I expect that new persons to this thread will go back and read some of the old posts, as I do not expect to have to revisit items of this nature on a repeated basis.
- let's look at the financing issue. The financing, that was just announced, was the completion of one originally announced back in May. That is NOT a new financing. I do however understand where the confusion arose, as my first reaction was the same as yours.
- as for my assuming that "we all know what's happening with the sportsbook deal", I made no assumption of the sort. What I assumed is that everyone knew that they had been working on one. That was made public some time ago and I have referenced, in the past, that they felt it was going well. That is about all I know "for sure", I am EXPECTING that the deal will complete and I am ASSUMING it will wind up as part of the service being offered to Tri-vue, as it wouldn't make much sense not to.
- Tri-vue deal is NOT yet completed, however, I am told it is looking promising and there are apparently no barriers to making it happen, at this juncture. The project itself may very well be managed or significant assisted, by Global. That has not been defined yet and will need to be, to complete the deal.
- the papers were filed with the VSE last Wed. and from what I understand the VSE has 10 business days to either approve the deal or supply a deficiencies list, so that's where that stands.
- Sheldon will continue to move towards taking a lesser role, he may wind up staying on as a director, but I doubt it. I certainly would NOT expect to see him gone, until the deal is officially completed.
- the name change will NOT be happening until the deal is approved, so it is no surprise that we haven't seen it yet.
- with the web sites, don't expect a ton to be happening there until the deal is done either. I know they are working on getting them running, but that would still fall into the arena of public awareness, which they are trying to largely put an umbrella over. That goes for the functional sites, as well as the corporate site.
- I have not really focused much of my querying on the AGM, as it is largely irrelevant at this juncture. They got approval to do the deal, they got approval for the name change, etc. That's about all that counts.
- as for still thinking that PageActive was involved, when it wasn't, that would have come out in pretty much the same way as it did. I was continuing to check and fill in the blanks and trying to put as much clarity in the story as I could. That eventually came out after the PageActive sale and after I was able to actually talk directly to someone at Global.
I hope this has helped some in giving you some of the answers to your questions and/or issues.
Salut,
