Hi Robert,

COUNT IN A MANIA <<<<<

I would like to take another view of that comment.

As a general comment I would agree fundaments do not count in a MANIA. If that is true and a widely accepted rule of thumb - then if we are still in a MANIA , why hasnt the overall market gone anywhere since APRIL/MAY? Could it be that the MANIA is either pausing or coming to an end.

There are still some manic moves in selected stock and sectors, but nowhere close to the mania that pushed the majority of INTERNETs up previously. The strength of this mania was with the INTERNETS and some other HiTECHs earlier in the year. Once the MANIA in the INTERNETs subsided we saw the MANIA rotate to the DOW stocks in APRIL when the DOW ran from 10,000 to 11,000. Then after the DOW had its manic episode, the MANIA then shifted to other HiTECH stocks and the SOX. And it appears that the actual number of stocks benefiting from manic moves are diminishing.

Is this just a pause or the beginning of the end of the mania?
