Count me amongst the many that have for almost 2 years experienced extreme frustration with etroupe. I will shortly be closing out my acct. and doing a broker transfer to ABW. I have 3 brokerage accts., Fidelity, ABWatley and "etry" and the worst by far is etarde. The Co. claims it advised me of a margin call last week via email, (I was on vacation). The Co. further notified my 9 year old son on the morning of Aug 30 that Aug 30 was the last day to forward money or sell securities. I did recieve a call at work from my son & called the Co. and asked for a bank transit number to transfer funds on that day. I have a Fax copy showing I transferred funds that day. I have a bank rec. showing funds leaving my acct. on Aug 30. I also have a statement from the etards showing they sold 1400 shares of the asset of "their" choice to cover the margin call on Aug 31. They claimed the specific amount in the bank transfer was credited to my acct. on Aug 31. I talked to a customer rep after waiting approx 12 min. and failed to convince the rep of the injustice. It's not the first margin call I've received and all in the past were covered within the three days. In conjunction with the delays and slowness of order execution I STRONGLY recommend almost any other service as being superior. I've also closed out a Suretrade acct., and in retrospect it was far better service. PS please excuse only the unintentional spelling mistakes.
